Lamborghini – In Conversation with the Duke of Richmond

The Brief

To celebrate the 30th year of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Lamborghini asked us to interview the Duke of Richmond. We wanted to hear his thoughts and memories of how the event has evolved over the years and to hear how Lamborghini has played a part in its history.

The Work

The film intersperses dialogue from our conversation with the Duke with footage of the Lamborghini Huracán Evo which we filmed on roads around the Goodwood Estate. We wanted to capture a personal insight into how the Festival of Speed came to be from the Duke’s own perspective which we brought to life with dynamic shots of the Evo alongside archive footage of a Lamborghini Miura.

As part of a one-hour slot with the Duke of Richmond we shot the master film content and photography that would accompany the Lamborghini Festival of Speed social assets and press release. We then went on to film the car around the grounds to deliver a mixture of dynamic on-road imagery and static portrait shots of the Duke of Richmond interacting with the car.
