Jaguar Land Rover created a new Special Vehicle Operations programme enabling customers to create their own dream cars. We were tasked with marketing not just some of the most unique vehicles imaginable, but their entire state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.


The market for personalisation in the automotive world has grown inexorably. With mainstream manufacturers through to rarified luxury brands offering customers the ability to create unique vehicles, Jaguar Land Rover created its own Special Vehicle Operations programme – a remarkable Technical Centre built from the ground up, where customers could build their dream cars. Our job was to ensure that Jaguar Land Rover customers would know about this new service, and importantly just what this new facility would be capable of creating.

We worked with the SVO team across all elements of the programme – from branding to film content, digital communications and beautiful, bespoke print assets. To tell this story we started from the beginning, installing timelapse cameras that charted how the site in Warwickshire was transformed into one of the most advanced manufacturing facilities in the world.

An interactive digital media kit provided journalists with a detailed overview of every service on offer, while to show to potential customers the levels of personalisation they could enjoy, film assets, brochures and mobile apps guided them through everything from exclusive paint palettes to James Bond-esque commissioning suites.
